Brewing news Canada, ON: Railway City Brewing sales to EARI Beverage Group not moving forward

Railway City Brewing has announced that negotiations with EARI Beverage Group for acquisition of the brewery that started earlier this year have “failed to reach a satisfactory conclusion and the Letter of Intent between the two companies is no longer in effect”, the Canadian Beer News reported on March 16.

In a press release, John Peart, President of Railway City, says that while “the Letter of Intent has expired without a mutual agreement, Railway City will continue doing what we do best – serving our customers, employees, community and our investors.”

The statement further notes that operations at the brewery in St. Thomas have not been affected by this outcome, and will continue normally going forward.
